About Melt Lymphatics
Melt lymphatics combines my love of horses and the lymphatic system.
I am a human remedial therapist and learnt about how important the lymphatic system is to overall health during my training, and then I became hooked. I have since gone on to do as many lymphatic courses as I can (amongst many other therapies) and now get to share my knowledge with others.
While I was gaining certification for equine sports massage, I learnt as much as I could about the similarities and differences between the human and equine lymphatic systems. I even did an assessment on the equine lymphatic system, I must say it was my best assessment I have ever done!
I treat a variety of clients using lymphatic drainage, kinesiotaping, cryotherapy, cupping, laser and photonic lights and equine sports massage.
I work with:
• Performance horses
• Rehab and post-injury horses – including at vet clinics and rehab facilities
• Horses with swelling, puffiness, or circulation issues
• Horses recovering from surgery or illness
• Horses requiring support recovery between competitions
My Background & Training
Coming from a remedial therapist background and a naturally curious nature, it’s not uncommon to hear that I am studying.
My training background includes:
- Diploma Remedial Therapies
- Manual Equine Lymphatic Drainage (USA)
- Advance decongestive techniques (USA)
- Vodder training Level I and II (German based)
- Equine Sports Massage
- Kinesiotaping
- Cryotherapy
- Therapy tools – Grastons, IASTM, Photonic, Laser, Activators
- Energetic work
How I Work
All clients are asked some general intake questions, in some situations vet clearance may be requested.
Appointments are tailored to match the horses:
- Energy levels
- Physical needs
- After care and support
Lymphatic treatments require multiple sessions to receive the optimal treatment outcome, packages are available.
I believe working with the body and adapting to the needs of the horse provide the best treatment outcomes.
